King Alfred Weekend

The King Alfred Weekend commemorates the anniversary of the King’s death on 26th October 899 and showcases local projects that have brought to light the heritage and talents of Hyde and its community.

The events celebrate the Hyde area and the uncovering of its history, through traditional and more contemporary events, including music and the visual arts.
